Fast Tip Wednesday: Dry Your Nails in a Moment

12 Dec

All right Dolls, it is time for another Fast Tip Wednesday, our new favorite topic to post about!

We have been starting to dash off to parties, and with each new look we wear, we want to change out our polish to match our looks!

Not sure about all of you, but sometimes we don’t have the time to spend waiting for our polish to dry. We have spent some time scouring the internet looking for the best tutorials to help us figure out how to make our polish dry quickly.

While the use of Pam spray or olive oil does help, this is the method we prefer: ice water!

There were many different tutorials available, this was one of the best ones. It shows how simple it is! All you need is a bowl of ice water. From our own trial and error, we want to make it clear that you need very cold water. We suggest using your own chilled water and adding ice cubes.

In the video, they only do two fingers at a time, get a bowl large enough for all five of your fingers. Make sure not to rest them on the sides or bottom of the bowl, or else you will still smudge and dent the nail polish job you just did.

Once we have painted our nails, we allow one-two minutes for our nail polish to set and then we submerge them in the ice bath for two minutes. Once your polish is set, you are good to go for a night on the town.

Most tutorials say that it is an instant dry, I like to say quick dry. So don’t be too disappointed if your polish does not immediately dry. We like it because we can do this as the last step before we leave the house!

Try it out and let us know what you think of our fast tip this week!

Love,

Your Team at JBR Clothing
